Recording expenses
Tap + to enter an amount, category and date. Notes and line items are optional. Long-press the amount to paste. Set the start of your bookkeeping month to any day from 1 to 28. Subscriptions and fixed expenses are recorded manually when paid.
Sharing a ledger
Both members need to be signed into iCloud. The owner creates an invitation in Settings > Sharing. Open the single-use link on the other device, using Safari if an in-app browser does not work. Joining replaces the local ledger; export any records you need first.
Receipt recognition
Scan a receipt or select a photo, then check all recognized values against the original. Recognition works on-device and is designed for Japanese receipts. Apple Intelligence is optional. The free limit is 10 successful scans per calendar month per device.
Pro and restoring purchases
Pro is a one-time purchase by the ledger owner. It removes ads and enables unlimited receipt scans and custom categories plus 6/12-month charts for that ledger. Free users can still record, edit, share, export and manage fixed expenses. Free charts show 2 months and custom categories are limited to 3. Restore purchases using the Apple Account used for purchase. A member who leaves loses access to that ledger’s shared entitlement.
Sync and notifications
Check the app version, iCloud sign-in and network connection, then open both apps. Sync and Pro changes can take time. iOS may delay or suppress background notifications. If unsynced records exist, contact support before deleting the app or switching ledgers.
Contact
